Hi all!

My name is Jericho and I am trying my first blog ever!

I am the red-spotted one using Ellie for a pillow.

I am hoping to get in touch with my siblings, Jo Jo, Murray, and Emmett. Also my cousins Arron ,Olivia, Jimmy, Howie and Terry. I know I have more out there that I have never talked with but have seen their pictures.

I am doing very well with my new family. I have my best buddy Ellie who is also an AJ kitten. She is older and an F3. Ellie is 15 months old today and came here to our new home back in February. I decided to follow her in June when I was 14 weeks old and have been here almost a month. There is one other who reigns supreme and is very old, well to me he is since he is nine. His name is Tater and he is a barn cat that my mom saved when he was only a couple days old and someone had bitten him and left him in her hay stack. Boy was he lucky mom found him when she did and that she knew what to do. I still give Tater the respect he deserves......for now!

Uh oh! Here comes mom and she needs to use the computer for payroll.

Hope to hear from you and see some pictures soon.

Jericho

Simba and Bruce are doing fine, seem to be getting adjusted to Bruce's arrival.

GREAT Instructional Videos!

How to Start Your Own Blog

This is a good overview for how to start a blog. Will try and find another video for sharing permissions (what we're doing with the AJS Family Blog).

Trying Out the New Permissions

Not sure if this will work, but may be a better choice for our families who don't want to maintain a full-time blog. Let's face it, not everyone has a Savannah like ME to write about. JK

I think that Adrianne just sent out an invitation to my new email address. Then all I had to do was click on the embedded link and follow the prompts to create an account. (Kind of hard to do, with my huge paws, though.)

Then I had to verify my email address -- clicked on a link -- then signed in with the password I created, and here I am, posting on the AJSavannahs Family Blog!

Adrianne doesn't know I have access to the new Netbook, or that my paws can even fit on the keys... won't she be surprised when she finds out I can read, too!

Vester decided to supervise me this morning and followed me right into Kboo's kittens' room, as if he belonged there.

They have the upstairs library, really it's our retro music room with several older stereos. One short-wave hi-fi from the '50s with presets for "Munchen", West Berlin, and The Vatican -- extremely good condition -- found it at a Teen Challenge Thrift Store for $25!!!

The other is a huge cabinet model, over seven feet in length, from the mid-60s. Found it at a Hwy 61 Yard Sale, only $20, brought it home sticking out the back end of our Mazda. Everything works on it, too. And we have a '40s model that we're restoring that will go up to the library when we're done. Ha. Never done around here.

Good that Jason and I both like the same things... and the solid wood of all the stereos mean the kittens can't do any damage that we can't repair.

But... Vester went right in, explored a bit, then started playing with Terry, Jimmy, and Howie, as if he was a sibling. No hissing, spitting, rough play. Just romping around with the three younger kittens, age nine weeks, going on full-grown, for attitude.

They also know how to change channels on "their" smaller radio. We rotate between a mix of talk radio, soft rock, and oldies. So far, they all seem to prefer the oldies channel. Wonder why? Surrounded by retro radios!
